The Glycemic Index (GI) Database

The Glycemic Index or GI describes this difference by ranking carbohydrates according to their effect on
our blood glucose levels. The Glycemic Load is a measure of the density and digestion speed of
carbohydrates (the Glycemic  index of a food multiplied by the amount of carbohydrates per serving).
