Organisations:
The British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
Offers good advice about whether the surgery option is right for you. All operations carry risks and complications, however. BAAPS provide information on different types of surgery.

The Association is the professional representative body for plastic and reconstructive surgeons in the United Kingdom. This site aims to give you an overview of the work of the Association, and also to give authoritative advice on management of conditions which fall within this specialty of care.
General Medical Council’s (GMC) Specialist Register.
Consultant plastic surgeons are listed as being fully trained in cosmetic Surgery. You can confirm this on the GMC website or at public libraries.

This organisation has produced a leaflet giving useful information for patients having any type operation.

UK's Food and Drink Federation's new information leaflet - A Guide to Nutrition Labels
- Food Standards Agency
- A healthy diet contains lots of fruit and vegetables; is based on starchy foods such as wholegrain bread, pasta and rice; and is low in fat (especially saturated fat), salt and sugar. The agency provide numerous healthy eating leaflets and posters that can be downloaded.
- The British Nutrition Foundation
- The Foundation promotes the nutritional wellbeing of society through the impartial interpretation and effective dissemination of scientifically based nutritional knowledge and advice.
- They have recently launched a new A5 eight-page leaflet about healthy eating. The new publication has been developed to give practical advice and 'top-tips' about healthy diets. Here
